Walk in the Park

The buzz of the studio is a bit much some days and especially day after day...and a guy just has to get out of it. Much to my relief there is a comfort zone not far away, where the buzz disappears, and I can turn my thoughts inward. Today is such a day, I needed to reflect and focus some thoughts and good energy to someone very special...my oldest child, Coral, she is twenty years old and so very far away from her main family. It's good and important to stop and think in a special way of those who are special to you. That's what I did today on my walk in the park. I saw the top most sculpture and said to myself "that's the one she would like" you see, she is smart as a whip and one of the most thoughtful people I know, a real contemplative person. That's her at the top, my beautiful and totally modern (but still little girl).!!!!!

Dad,
I stop in on your blog every now and then to see what you're up to, but today I didn't (go figure) and just now I received a text from mom telling me to check it out, and low and behold, a picture of me! haha
I miss you daddyman, thanks for thinking of me. I think of you and Mom all the time.... It's been a long time since I've heard your voice. I'm going to try and go on skype tomorrow, around 9 or 10am tomorrow for me.. so the 31st of august.

I hope you're not too lonely, you're so far away. I wish I could give you a big hug. You're the reason for so many of my good memories as a child... the silly moments and the one's that got me thinking (like when we talked about the universe and the future). I was very lucky, if I were religious I'd use the word blessed to describe my good fortune in having parents such as you and mom. You sheltered me just enough but not too much so that I grew incapable of surviving in the real world... though at times I fee like I'm just a child and wonder what I'm doing away from my parents. But I'm happy and it's because of you and Mom and everyone I love in my life.

Thanks for the blog dad and I hope to hear from you soon. Until then. I love you.

Your eldest,
Coral
